The Colleen Findlay Foundation is funded by donations made by individuals who support our causes and our initiatives.
Dr. Ken Ginnan
A special thank you to Dr. Ken Ginnan, a dentist in the Maple Ridge community who has supported our work generously for many years. Thank you, Dr. Ken, for both your work with the patients and children in our area, but also for returning to the community with your funding.
Dr. Jim Findlay
Dr. Jim Findlay has contributed the primary funding for establishing the Colleen Findlay Foundation. His ongoing support with finances enables the upkeep of the building and the continued funding of our major programs, such as the Wild and Immersive Bursary.
Fundraising
Our fundraising efforts include the sale of local farm goods, and through our business at Blue Lake Resort in the Fraser Canyon. We oversee rentals of Colleen Findlay Place to various groups and rent our building to the film industry for short periods. These efforts help support our ongoing projects, including visits to local care homes and school food programs.
